PerMAP
How do noise barriers work
Repetitive standing waves that arise between the noise barrier and vehicle traffic will raise noise levels. Installing sound-absorbing barriers reduces the buildup of standing waves and noise.
Easy to install
The PerMAP panels are slotted in between two structural I-sections across the length of the noise barrier. It can be installed on top of existing parapet walls because of its lightweight nature.
Easy to maintain
PerMAP is weather-resistant and maintenence-free. Each panel comprises a solid metal backing sheet, an absorptive infill, a vapour layer, and finished with a slitted metal facing.
Product specifications
PerMAP noise barriers can achieve a minimum sound insulation of STC25 and high sound absorption of vehicular traffic frequencies of between 125Hz to 4,000Hz.
Applications:
Traffic and industrial noise control
